The city of Arles has the peculiarity of being crossed by the Rhone, but also of being more than 2500 years old. Therefore, we can observe remarkable monuments that were built during Antiquity in Roman times, such as the ancient theatre, the arenas, or the Roman circus. Because of its important heritage, the city is classified as a City and Country of Art and History, and its Roman and Romanesque monuments have been on the World Heritage List since 1981. Proud to attract many tourists every year, it hosts many festivities throughout the year, such as the Feria d'Arles in April, or the International Photography Meetings during the summer. A day in Marseille

Image
Hello everyone! Today, I'm going to dedicate my second article to the city of Marseille. As the largest city in the region and the second largest city in France, it was impossible for me not to introduce it to you!  Like all big cities, there are many activities and monuments to visit. That's why I'm going to write you my top 5 things to do or see in Marseille.  1.    Beaches and the Calanques National Park How can we talk about Marseille without mentioning its unique beaches? For those who like to walk, the Parc National des Calanques offers many paths where you can hike between the sea and the tortuous reliefs. After the trail, you can rest and sunbathe by the turquoise water. These are typical landscapes of the South of France which the inhabitants love.  "Calanque d'En-Vau" For those in a hurry who don't have time to hike in the creeks, you will find the Prophet's Beach on the city centre side, accessible by car or publ...

Image
Hello everyone ! In this first article, I really wanted to highlight one of the tourist sites that most represents Provence : the Colorado Provençal . Indeed, it is a place that is not very well known by tourists but also little known by the inhabitants. However, this village of the Luberon is really worth the detour, and is even for me an obligatory stopover when you are on holiday in Provence. You should first stop in the village of Roussillon. It is a village in the Luberon Regional Natural Park which is classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France. It has the particularity of presenting red and orange hues. Roussillon is famous for the richness of its ochres. The " Sentier des Ocres " (Ochre Trail) offers a walk during which you can discover the geology, the flora, the history and the colours of the Ochre Massif. You will leave the Ochre Trail with eyes full of colours and unique landscapes. The second stage of the walk is in a nearb...
